This document refers to personal data, which is defined as information concerning any living person, (a natural person, who hereafter shall be called the Data Subject), that is not already in the public domain.

Who are we?

Little Blossoms Tutoring is a tuition business, that carries out in-person, and where requested online, lessons in KS1, KS2 English and Maths, SATS Preparation, 11+ Exam Preparation and general homework help. Little Blossoms Tutoring is based in Enfield, Middlesex in the UK. The term 'Little Blossoms Tutoring' hereby refers to the company as a whole, and Narishma Poonwasie, the owner of said company, and current sole employee. 

What data do we collect?

Little Blossoms Tutoring collects the following data:

  • Personal Identification Information including

    • your name,

    • email address,

    • home address,

    • post code, 

    • phone number

  • Your Child's Basic Details including​

    • their age​

 

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Little Blossoms Tutoring with most of the data we collect.

We collect data and process data when you:

  • Sign up for our weekly resources

  • Register your interest in booking tuition sessions with us through our contact forms

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

Little Blossoms Tutoring will only collect what is relevant and necessary for the provision of our tuition services, including actual sessions and providing weekly resources.

How will we use your data?

Little Blossoms Tutoring collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your enquiry and communicate with you directly regarding what tuition services you are looking for

  • Set up and manage your tuition sessions, including setting a time, location and agreeing methods of payment 

  • Email you with the weekly resources that we provide free of charge

  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.

  • Provide you with any information pertaining to your tuition sessions

  • Update customer testimonials, with your permission, to be added to the website

Little Blossoms Tutoring will not share your personal data with anyone or any third parties. We will not sell or broker your data.

 

How do we store your data?

All data is held in the United Kingdom, Little Blossoms Tutoring does not store personal data outside the EEA. 

We will process personal data during the duration of any tuition of clients, and will continue to store only the personal data needed for 12 months after the tuition has expired to meet any legal obligations. After 12 months, all personal data will be deleted, unless basic information needs to be retained by Little Blossoms Tutoring to meet your future legal obligations to you, such as erasure details.

Little Blossoms Tutoring will keep your personal information safe and secure. We will not disclose your personal information unless compelled to, in order to meet legal obligations, regulations, or valid governmental requests. Little Blossoms Tutoring may also use data in order to prevent or mitigate fraud or security or technical issues; or to protect against imminent harm to the rights, property and safety of the company and its employees.

Marketing

Our Company would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies. These partner companies currently include:

  • Tutorful - a tutoring website that can be used to help you find another tutor should you not wish to take up tuition with Little Blossoms Tutoring.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

What are your data protection rights?

Little Blossoms Tutoring would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

Identification will be required if a request is made, Little Blossoms Tutoring will accept the following forms of identification when information on your personal data is requested: a copy of your driving license, passport or birth certificate, and a utility bill not older than three months. A minimum of one piece of photographic identification listed above and a supporting document is required. If Little Blossoms Tutoring is dissatisfied with the quality of the identification, further information may be sought before personal data can be released.
