Is your child able to answer these KS2 SATS Questions?

We've put together a 10 minute test based on KS2 Maths SATS Questions to give you a guide as to the questions that may come up for your child and also to help you assess whether you think tutoring might be of benefit to your child.

KS2 Maths Quiz

You've got 10 minutes to complete the next 10 questions. These questions are all based on the questions that a child would have to answer in the year 6 SATS. Calculators (and Google!) are not allowed. Try to answer all questions within the 10 minute time limit to give a good idea of the actual exam. Good Luck!

A cinema ticket costs £3.60 and a bucket of popcorn is £2.50. Five children went to the cinema and shared 3 buckets of popcorn. How much did they spend altogether?
There are 1.18 Euros to £1. A car costs 11,800 Euro. How much is the car in pounds?
Which of these are NOT equivalent to each other?
If a cat sleeps for 12 hours each day, then 50% of its life is spent asleep. A koala sleeps for 18 hours each day, how much of its life is spent asleep?
At the end of a film, the year is given in Roman numerals. Write the year MMVI in figures.
Here is the run for the time it takes to cook a chicken: ‘Cooking time = 20 minutes plus an extra 40 minutes for each kilogram’. How many minutes will it take to cook a 3kg chicken?
Using the same rule from the previous question, then what is the mass of a chick that takes 100 minutes to cook?
A bicycle wheel has a diameter of 64cm. What is the radius of the bicycle wheel?
